It will be worth it. It is a really ###y looking pistol. Small and well designed. I like Glocks but I also like this pistol.

Just bumping the thread again to see where those frustrations are heading.

Are the mags for the Vikings 17 round mags pinned to 10 rounds or are these mags true 10 round mags. thanks.
Absolutely not true. Also I cannot tell about other importers, so far we were getting Vikings with the same as military barrels and firing pins. GSh-18 shouldn't be weakened in any way.
And no I'm 5'8" with small handsGSh-18 is a neat little gun.
I have a video (have to find it) of me shooting +p+ Hydra Shok JHP ammo out of one of our stock Vikings at Genesee range. Here is the picture (note the ammo):

On hold due to a price disagreement...and instead of 106mm barrel they offered 120 mm Pinocchio style barrel for more money. We rejected the offer but still trying to get a fair deal on 106mm. Unfortunately, Tula doesn’t see Canada as a serious market hence the ridiculous price and all delays on producing requested barrel length. Anyway we are still optimistic about Gsh-18 and keep negotiating...

Oh, thanks for the update. I'm not up for a Pinocchio, but I'm still optimistic for 106mm too, otherwise I'll just have to be happy with a Strike One.

they have a version with suppressor that requires long barrel...

If you were able to get the 106mm barrel version in I'd be all over it like hot molasses.
