Gun club in Toronto

Toronto Club

What distance do you need and would you prefer indoor or outdoor?

There are a number of outdoor clubs outside the city and a few indoor ranges inside where centre fire rifles can be fired.

Nope. Pistol calibres or .22 rimfire rifle only. Even if the backstop could take it, they are only allowed pistol or .22 rimfire rifle by the CFO.

Don't forget, any Metro Housing Project ;)

But seriously I shoot at Sharon, call them make an appointment to visit the Club on a Saturday, they've got 8 active ranges and they're all outdoors, with heated areas for the winter.

tyc147, Sharon or Barrie are your best bets for Black rifle along with other disciplines. Take a run up to Sharon, you will not be disappointed. Barrie has indoor as well as outdoor ranges and would be worth a look if it is not too far a drive.

You could also consider Guelph....

Well within driving distance about an hour away.

Since you say your upper limit is 2 hours I should also put a plug in for my personal haunt EESA.

I don't think they allow rifles at the CN club. They like to keep a low profile and don't want people walking around Union Station with rifle cases.

LKW can get you all of the local range info you need. I guess you need at least 100 to 300 yards for your .223 or .308.rifle. The Oshawa Gun Club would be good, but they're not licenced for restricted.
