Recall a buddy from down-east - had a Chessie who's registered name was
(Something or others Kennel name)" ... Fairweather Fog". Ugliest Chessie you ever saw, so he renamed him Handsome #### -or just "####" for short. Good retriever though !

Tikka is sleeping at my feet as I type this... when I named her I thought it was unique, I have since heard of a cat named Tikka, see on a few posts up and saw a Tikka retrieving pheasants on Canada in the rough... now that was funny watching the show with my dog in the room, every time they said "Tikka" and whistled, my dog would perk up and look at the TV.
