Can someone using the Rifle Rods with the Costco safe confirm that the Expansion Kit is sufficient and the fabric in the Starter Kit is not required for them to stick properly?
I have questions on storage ... you have no visible trigger locks or cables .... many loaded magazines and all in one cabinet ... is that legal storage. I am always worried about the gestapo storming into my home and looking at storage non compliances. I have noted the prosecutions of others for this stupid set of rules that are ambiguous on the .ca site with that official info.
The over regulation of firearms in Canada makes me paranoid. I worry more about over-zealous bureaucrats than about thieves or fire. I do want to comply, but I wonder about the subjective calls of what complies and what doesn't.
Just a heads up, I just picked up the safe at the Oshawa Costco and I believe there are three left $299.
Here is mine before and after with the rack, mat, and shelving that came with the kit. Not shown is the lock box and extra curved shelf inert.

Just went to Costco in Halifax...they had 4. Only 3 now...thanks for the heads up!
Does it have a key pad or dial?
Threads like this make me realize one thing................ I need more guns.![]()

Did you get that from a store, or used??I just bought a safe in Peterborough. $300 plus tax. Already had the rifle rods but just picked up a pair of hand gun hangers.
I have to say I love the products I got from you today! Pics below show the "original" handgun hangers, two mag mounts, and rifle rods. Better organization means more room and more room means more guns!
