H2O's Rogue M14 - the evolution continues

H20 MAN is correct. I just assembled my Springfield Armory, Inc. M1A with an 18 " barrel into a SRSS, Inc. BullDog 762 Gen 4 stock and slapped in the XS Products X-14 fifty round drum magazine. Weight? 16 lbs 13 oz but that includes the Aimpoint Comp M2 and LaRue LT 152 QD mount. I plan to take it out for a function test this weekend. There's a photo of it already posted on the Internet. :D

I really gotta pull up and move to the states. I'd lose the fun of building and tuning norincos , but with all the cool stuff for the m14/m1a down in the US, drooling over my key pad is starting to hurt LOL

I installed the 2" butt stock extension purchased from JTac today.
It adds 2" of length and 14.20 ounces of weight.

OK, I wanna see some photos of this bad boy!!!!

The addition of the spacer results in a LOP of 17.5" and an OAL of 30.25" with a DC Vortex on an 18.0" barrel.

The big plus with the spacer is the built in mono pod rail. Shooting this chassis from a prone position
without some kind of additional support is very difficult. I realized this very early on and made my own
mono pod rail without any spacer within 2 weeks of getting the chassis.
My modification works, but it needs to be more solid.

I'm not sure if I'll be using the JTac spacer 24/7... if I remove it, it will remain in my parts box just in case.

Im jealous, good work and congrats.............

Thanks... it's built on a semi-auto Norc receiver :)

What's it weigh?

According to XS-Products their X-14 drum mag weighs 4.9 lbs. loaded with 50 rounds.

The weight of my bullpup with optic and all of the accessories pictured above is just over
14 lbs. empty (no mag in the receiver) and just under 19 lbs. w/50 rounds and the drum mag.

How much do you weigh? If the gun weigh's more than you, you might have a problem.:ar15:
