H2O's Rogue M14 - the evolution continues

Update:

It's been fun, but I no longer have a functional bullpup M14... I have removed the action and accessories, they have
all been set aside for use in a new M14.CA Blackfeather stock that's heading my way from the great white north.

I have decided to sell my modified #1Rogue stock to a friend... he will continue the evolution I started.

I'm giving the Rogue conversion kit another try, this time it's the Gen II kit.
It is lighter and better in many ways, but there remain a few bugs for me to work out.

Overall length with Wind Talker sound suppressor is 36.00" ... 27.75" without the suppressor.
The standard weight barrel is 16.25", and it's fitted with SEI's SOCOM kit with a DC Vortex flash hider.

My new set of MBUS PRO would not fit the top cover rail on my Rogue, but they did fit the rails on my SAGE EBR.
I returned the top cover rail to JugTactical with the MBUS PRO, Zack worked on the rail, and UPS delivered it to my door this morning.
All is well, the MBUS now fit as they should.

Oh that poor m14 LOL
While I'm not a fan of this evolution of the M14.... It is pretty cool to see what folks come up with.
Then again, too really comment fully I suppose I'd have to shoot one.... Maybe one day

I'll let you shoot it, just let me know when you will be traveling to the Atlanta or Athens, GA area.
The bullpup is an interesting configuration that was first tried here in the US in the 1940's, maybe earlier.
I favor the M14 conversion kit because the host rifle is reliable and the conversion is easily reversible.

Three rounds of Portuguese NATO surplus from the CQB-16 type SEI in a Gen II Rogue bullpup conversion kit with the Wind Talker sound suppressor attached. The optic is an Aimpoint Comp M4s with a 2 MOA dot. I shot from a bench with the front of the rifle on bags. Andrea Di was my spotter.
