I'm having a tough time finding any powder.. can anyone on here point me in the right direction?
Budget's closed for the Summer, SFRC is sold out... who else carries powder?

Higginson carries it, but I think you'll have to buy 25 lbs to avoid the hazmat fee. They ship nationwide

The Shooting Edge in Calgary just got a schwak of powder in and its one of them. Again, hazmat fees may be prohibitive but worth looking into

Thanks dabear,
I'm going to be in Calgary next week so I can buy and save on the shipping... on second thought - who knows if there's a problem with putting a couple pounds of powder in my checked baggage for the flight back to Kelowna?

Its still considered as a dangerous good. They wont let u bring mouthwash so imagine how tight their panties would get if you tried to bring gunpowder along. It'd be seized most likely and other not-so-pleasant things may result.
Odd how u can have loaded ammo in your bags. Best to check with the airline first and bring proof if okay as those checkpoint charlie security guards may be overzealous. I can tell u that it is not allowed on WestJet and with Air Canada being even more restrictive, I doubt if you can even approach a sleeping ticket agent without setting off alarms..
Good luck

I'm not sure I will look into it further with Westjet.. they definitely do allow mouth wash in your checked baggage, so why not gun powder? :)

Try Del Selin in Vernon or Higginson Powders.

I'm not sue if that's legal or not. Intuitively I would think not.

You could try Benchmark if it's available locally. It's a good powder but I'm guessing you want something that flows better and isn't extruded.
