I made an order on June 13, 2012 for a Ruger 10/22 carbine (4 in stock at the time) and a box of Lightfield HV Super Star.
You guys require a copy of my PAL, and it was just approved so I emailed asking if it was okay to wait for my PAL to come in and I would immediately scan and send it over. I was told that would be okay. (I provided my PAL # from the CFO)
Yesterday, June 22, I received my PAL, so I scanned it, emailed it and called in right away for my order. Spoke to a girl who said everything looked good and it would update on the site shortly and my order would ship out soon. Also asked to replace the shotgun ammo with 2 boxes of rimfire ammo.
Waited all day, no changes, so today I called in to see what was going on. I was told by a different girl that there is no longer any stock of the 10/22 (the website says sold out now, I watched the stock number dwindle down, but when I made my order, the stock number accounted for my order).
I asked why and was told perhaps multiple order were shipped, and even thought the 10/22 I wanted was spoken for by me, it was still shipped out. Asked if I wanted to wait for the next shipment of 10/22, though there was no timeline on when it would arrive. So I had to cancel my order.
Kind of disappointing after all that eager waiting to find out the rifle I wanted was sold. Good thing I called in again today to find out. Sadly I will have to take my business else where. I was looking forward to dealing with a business within my province.
At least the customer service on the phone was friendly
