Halifax M-14 Clinic26 Sep 09 Debrief HERE!

Filthy,

Make it so, and you're #10!

Then we'll gather some deposits and buy Barney a plane ticket!

Anyone have a 1.75" wrench they can bring? I've not managed to track one down yet.

NS

(As an aside, someone came to me and offered to lend me an M-305 from the latest batch to bring along....he's not available due to family stuff, but his rifle is gonna tag along with me.)

The event is all day Saturday, the 26th of September.

And you make 10.

So, folks, let's get some $$ together so Barney can book his flight.

I'm heading to Connaught tomorrow, (will have some access while there) but the best thing to do I think is have everyone send Barney an EMT for $40 so he can book the flight.

We'll do up an open spreadsheet for the accounting, anyone can ask to see it.

We want to be able to cover the costs, and hey, since Barney is "Hungry" mebbe on Saturday for supper we can find a good restaurant to take him to for supper or something!

Sound like a plan Barney?

NS

Barney,

I'll let you chime in on how you want the $$?

NS

Hungry here: EMT is good. Let me look into the cost of a flight....

I'd join you for supper that night but I've already got tickets to a Matt Andersen concert at the Cohn. No way I'm passing up on that piece of blues.

I'll fire in my deposit as soon as someone tells me where to send the cash. My bank won't do EMT but I can send (FRAUD ALERT) or mail a check or a MO. I bought a set of Hungry's DVDs (VCDs actually) last year but I can't remember how I paid him.

I just got my ARMS scope mount in the mail. I'm horny to put it on myself, but maybe Ill just wait and let the experts handle it. Even though it is straight forward, Ill take advantage of the M14 experts experience. Unless this service isn't offered...

Scope mounting is part of the stuff that can be covered.

A local expert handy is a "good thing".

So.

Here's the plan folks.

Hungry got estimates on flights, and its looking around $400 for the flight. (exact price to follow on booking)

So, with the $400 for the flight (ish, plus tax, etc) we should all send Barney a $50 deposit to get this on the go.

Fusilier, drop me a note and I'll work something out to cover you off.

I'm heading to Connaught tomorrow, and will have some connectivity while I'm there.

Barney,

As folks send you their deposit, can you mark that on the list on the first page?

I sent my $50 deposit in to Barney a few minutes ago folks.

We're off the ground, let's get him on the ground here in halifax!

NS

Those of you who are ready to send their payment to me... PM me for details and I'll send them to you. Just don't want to make too much information public. ;)

Got a few payments already. All the updating is done on the first page of this thread.

Any more questions? I want to make this Halifax clinic happen. The Westerners have me over there a few times a year ;)

Barney

Gallen, that'd be great on both counts!

I'm up at Connaught right now (selective availability here to the internet) and just finished a 300m walkback zero. Life is good!

Gallen270:

Thanks for the stove, and also thanks for looking into the Princess Auto 1 3/4" wrench. If you cannot find one, I will still bring mine, but the bags get purty heavy for the plane.

Speaking of plane; I've just booked my flights to and from Halifax! So you East Coast M14 addicts can move one step closer to having an M14 Hungry clinic like the Ontario dudes and the Albertans! Oh yeah, I cannot forget to mention all the M14 Clinics happening on the West Coast. Saves me flying out there! ;)

2 weeks from now, we'll be seeing you M14 lovers! :D
