Hi All
I was wondering, has anyone heard of any groups lobbying for handgun hunting in Ontario?

It would be interesting to see if there could be a compromise. People pay an extra "tax" for using a handgun for hunting season. The government gets more money, the hunters are happy.
I'm pretty sure none of the parties would be down with that. They all get scared when any mentioning of loosening handgun laws.
It would be safer for hand gun then rifle.
Less range.

Do you think hunter safety is really the issue?
I for one would be vehemently against an extra fee for something that should be legal anyways......the government will collect more money in taxes when people go out and buy a specific handgun for hunting, and other related equipment.
Well obviously we all would rather not pay anything extra to hunt with a handgun.
But if it came down to it, would you rather not have a chance in hell or pay $10 or $20 a year to do it?
Do you think guys in the States think it's cool paying for silencers?
