No more handguns for me for a while but my wife is showing signs of wanting one for home defense when I am out of town...

She's pregnant right now and should be giving birth near the end of March because of this she is starting to think that being able to protect herself and our new child when I'm not home makes a lot of sense. To think that just 5 years ago she was basically anti-gun...

None of my handguns are really suitable for her so I have been racking my brain on which one to get her. She is not overly firearms friendly so the simplier the action the better which means a small revolver.

I just bought a 6.5" Ruger Single Six on Saturday.

I received a phone call this afternoon to tell me the transfer was approved and the gun was ready to be picked up.Who said restricted transfers were slow in Ontario?

I started my transfer in AB on Wednesday afternoon. By Thursday 9:00 am, it was approved.

So, I still say Ontario transfers are slow.

I just bought a Glock 22 from Police Ordnance today. Gotta love that LEO/Military discount. $920 shipped with 3 extra mags, night sights, extended mag release and extended slide catch.

Knowing how transfers go in Nova Scotia, it'll probably be approved and shipped by Thurs.

Not supposed to buy anything in 2007 due to a very big 'special levy' due in May for my leaky condo but I bought a S&W 625 a few weeks ago.... Hell, if I gonna borrow the money for the levy, why not a little extra for a toy I figure .
