Handgun Transfer approved

This is the process? An Ontario retailer selling to a customer in a different province needs to go through the Ontario CFO AND the CFO for the province the pistol is going to? The retailer isn’t able to just go to CFO for the province the pistol is going to and have the transfer completed?

I bought from ON store on Monday and got an email transfer notification from AB CFO on Friday.

I purchased from an ON store May 31 and they initiated the transfer same day. Transfer was complete through BC CFO June 7.
