Handgun transfer wait times?

I'm in Alberta and made a purchase last Wednesday and transfer was emailed on Saturday morning (4 days) It was my first restricted too. Not bad I thought!

Last one was 15 minutes. Called in at 4 and was out the door at 4:15.
I haven't had one take more than 24 hours yet.

Certs however... those are weeks away.

Two days on a pistol is the fastest thus far. Seller initiated transfer Wednesday morning and approved this morning. Didn't call in yesterday but maybe if I had I could have shaved off a day. The CFO office here in Montreal seems to be getting better and the lady that handles the ATC apps is very nice and helpful.

Transfer initiated last week on a 228 clone.
Will be exactly a week tomorrow... Bought through the SFRC online store.

My AR took about 2 weeks to transfer I do believe...

This is in Ontario of course, hopefully not as long this time around. Keeping all my digits crossed.

I find that they ship on their schedule, rather than when approved. At least that was my experience in 2011, transfer approved in 4 days, even got the confirmation before they shipped (almost 1 week after the transfer was approved).

my first ever restricted transfer was a private seller to me, took one hour 28 mins, registration was 10 buisness days, second one blew me and the seller away as they approved everything on the phone in 24 mins, registration hasnt arrived yet, but only been a couple of days, i was told by bc cfo, that if its a long drive to where you are picking it up, they verify distance via maps and transfer you to cfo if the distance is a longer one, works for me as both purchases where over and hour from my house

For those receiving transfer notices via email, what address are they using?
I'd like to include it in the whitelist settings of my email, so it doesn't just get treated as spam.

I'm in Ontario if it makes a difference, but if it differs by province it might be useful for others if they were posted as well.

I just had my first restricted arrive... I ordered sept 9 and my new license with conditions was in my mailbox and transfer approved on sept 17 and the firearm arrived today from bc im in ontario now we will see how long the ar I just bought takes to arrive
