Handgun transfer wait times?

My last two restricted transfers were 3 - 4 weeks, but more accurately a minimum of at least 15 business days. One transfer was from B.C., the other was local in Toronto. Same wait time. Make sure you give them your email address so at least they can send you the info immediately instead of snail mail.

I was amazed at how quick my last hand gun was done compared to others in the past. I purchased it from Prophet River, it arrived by mail in Surrey one week later. My registration certificate took another week to get here, all in all very impressed.

Average across the country for our transfers to customers is 2 business days with the exception of Quebec (5) and NS (4)
Ontario is occasionally same day.

I just recently purchased a CZ and the turn around time wasn't even 24 hours for the BC CFO.

I had phoned them on an un related question and then I asked the status and boom it was approved.,

Did one here a couple months ago, 2 days after completing the transfer with the CFC I phoned the CFO office to make sure they had my correct email address, she approved it and emailed conformation / STATT to me while we were still on the phone.

If I call in the morning, I have an email with transfer first thing the next morning usually. A couple times it was same day. Two days is a long wait for me.

I've had 2 Ontario transfers in the last few weeks, both were completed the next day. I have a transfer in Alberta I've been waiting to get approved for over 2 weeks now.

Transfer initiated last week on a 228 clone.
Will be exactly a week tomorrow... Bought through the SFRC online store.

My AR took about 2 weeks to transfer I do believe...

This is in Ontario of course, hopefully not as long this time around. Keeping all my digits crossed.
