Harvey Deprimer???

Those type of tools are very convenient, when you want to process a bunch of brass whilst sitting watching tv or when out at the range loading on the bench. If you want one to reprime with as well, take a look at the Pope style re&decapper tool from Meacham.
I use one for my 32-40, but, I never resize the brass on that, and the bullets are breech seated, so, no need for a press or dies in that process. When it comes to repriming though, I take a Lee handprimer to the range with me, as I don't have to handle primers with my hands thar way.

I went ahead and got one to try and it is great!! I deprimed 250 300wsm, 200 300wm and 50 270 all in one evening. I recommend it for sure.

Where do the spent primers end up?? She puts the case on the pin and closes it then squeezes the handle moving the pi/primer but where does the primer go? On the floor? Does the top part of the tool somehow catch the spent primer???

at 18 seconds you can see the primer fly out of it and head towards the floor.

Interesting, but I'd rather just de-prime when I size (I tumble first since I hate picking crap out of the pockets).

For black powder stuff I just use a bigger die to de-prime before washing (have a universal decapping die on order).

Now hand priming tools, on the other hand, are a joy compared with the tube-n-arm stuff on the press.

I could see using this at the range, if they make one that would work with .577 Snider, so that I could reload my limited number of cases at the bench. Otherwise it's a hammer and punch job.
