Has anyone ever asked magpul to make lar magazines?

Is having the bases thermally welded to the body normal of all CAA Magazines? How do you change a part if needed?

This was probably easier than drilling and pinning. You buy a new magazine.

I do not think this is standard CAA practice. It IS what we requested to be done however.
In the extremely unlikely chance you have a parts failure, the easiest thing to do is return the mag for a replacement 1.

Fair enough, thank you!

I use them in the Tavor no problem. I did square out the back mainly because they wouldn't allow the bolt on my AR to hold open on empty. What modification are you worrying about for the Tavor? Squaring the back up took about 10 seconds with an Xacto knife.

I squared the back of the mags with a pocket knife at the range. 10 second job.

How well do these fit in mag pouches? They look a bit thicker, but I don't think it would be a problem in an open topped pouch.

Just got mine this morning after placing my order on Tuesday. These are great looking, felling mags. Cant wait to get out tonight for a function test. I see myself ordering quite a few more than the first four I just received. Thanks ATRS.

Dimensionally they are the same width as any other mag that will fit into an AR mag well, so they will fit exactly the same into a mag pouch as a Pmag would.

Thank you. I was more concerned with the lower part of the body as I understand the upper part would be the same as any other mag in order to fit into the mag well. Looks like I will have 4 different types of mags after I place my order.

Have not had a chance to try them out yet but they sure look a lot ###ier than those grey lar mags

(terrible phone photo but you get the point..)
