As the title states...is the crisis over? Pmag pricing is dropping on the EE and some retailers have them in stock still........ What's the world coming to, won't someone please think of the children!

I doubt it, remember most of the buying in the U.S. was NEW buyers and they are still hungry for stuff

Meh... P-mags are really only vital if you plan on driving over your AR15 with your pickup truck before you start shooting. Otherwise, USGI mags with decent springs and good followers are good to go.

That said, I've had P-mags fail where USGI and steel mags wouldn't. Plastic will only deform so far before it shatters. Not saying P-mags aren't great magazines, but they're not the be-all and end-all of magazines.

Exactly

I find that most people that tend to emphasize the need for PMAGS over everything else are usually dealers or people that tend to have them up for sale in the EE...lol. It is only now with Emag and new Gen3 Pmag that they are adhering to the loose definition of the Stanag magazine which is long over due and should have been done in the first place in my opinion. That being said I own them and think they are great but most mags out there will serve you well in any environment in Canada and they will last longer than most shooters before seeing any failure point. Always good to have a good stash of magazines though, especially if using them on a regular basis.

There is nothing available in the US. Guns, ammo, mags and accessories. People are getting laid off because they have nothing to sell.

Hey, if you we're American you could pay $99.94 on cheaperthandirt!!

They seem to be trickling in to American retailers, but this alleged source at Reliable is the first I have heard of up here... Still $10 too much... I'll wait...

Good luck!

Agree 100% ... All my other mags from different manufacturers function as flawless as my pmags do and cost less.

I don't think there is a group of people out there that can create mass panic buying an better than Canadian and US gun owners. If you want to pay the stupid inflated prices go for it. But if you have some patience you can save a few bucks as the prices will come down.
