I'd like to see a F150 that could run flawlessly for 70 years.
LOL !!!
Another great quote...two for two....I like where this is going.
A SKS makes a Lee Enfield look classy.
Three for three
Bamm!!!

I'll put it this way. I'd the dinks want to ban it, it is worth having.
They're cheap.
That's the bottom line.
You can convince yourself you have an awsome rifle, but you bought it 'cause it was cheap.
I can gas up my F150 twice for what an sks costs... That's pretty cheap.
Exactly, it’s more like the sks is to the centerfire plinking scene as the 10/22 is to the rimfire plinking scene.
If the SKS is a Ford 150, then what's the Type 81?...![]()
Except the SKS is well made.
Wow, lot of Ford haters here...
Keep it up!

If you can use it the way it was designed, it's a very decent rifle.
All the aftermarket garbage makes it less reliable and less useable.
It seems that the lowly SKS has a lot of haters but why does everyone have one then? I have 2 and think they are great fun rifles, and even though I have much nicer more modern firearms there is something cool about them...my 2 cents.
I’d strongly beg to differ. Never had, nor never wanted one of those things.
You’ve never come across a couple a redneck types with their lifted 94 f150, Luke Bryan cranked on the radio and a couple of “good ol boys” usually donning a real tree/plaid ensemble shooting off their tapco SKS’s and their dads old Winchester into a fridge, dishwasher, beer keg etc? (Note that I did not specify what because when you ask it’s always “my dads old Winchester” like that’s supposed to narrow it down.)
People who use Tech Sights might disagree...![]()
