Looks great. We have the 1st non restricted barrel conversion almost done. The gun still needs a stock and fake barrel shroud as the long skinny barrel on the gun looks funny..

I was thinking of trying to use the hand guard from the MP5SD version with the barrel shroud once the NR barrel and shroud were completed...

Make the shroud a fat one and full length not like the BRS99 and it'll look ok.

I had mine out last week. Used 115 gr Blazer/CCI fmj brass shelled ammo.
Had about 1/3 rds fail to eject. Some were stovepipes but most were jammed well inside, near the entrance to the chamber in various positions.All extracted fine.

I believe I figured out what the problem was. The lower front end of the bolt has a cylindrical opening at its front. This fits over a similar sized nipple at the front inside of the receiver when closed. The edges on this metal "nipple" were sharp and it was causing the bolt to get hung up,,, not a smooth operation when the bolt moves to the rear.
So I just hand cycled it with force when I got home about 500 times and it now cycles smoothly. Hopefully this means it will shoot reliably now. Ive also grabbed some heavier 124 gr ammo.

Looks like I loaded my 3 mags twice, and then only 2 mags once.
