Have you always wanted an MP5K-ish gun?- Introducing the Lusa 9mm Restricted!

Lusa A2

Nitescout... Based on the Lusa, takes Uzi mags (note mag release on long mag well), has a slap down MP5 style charging handle and obviously some aesthetic changes forward.

I would buy one of those in a second if I could get an mp5 stock for it.

Approved years ago. Nothing interchangeable with an MP5. Think ak47 vs vz58. Similar looks, nothing related.

Mp5 stocks can be made to fit. Not really direct fit I've read.

So with the new regs passed last summer there should be no chance this gun can be reclassed a prohibited variant of an MP5?

Remember the MP5 .22? It was deemed prohibited because it looks like an MP5. Nothing else is the same. It is the CZ 858 of an AK47 in .22 but is prohibited. Anyways I bought a Lusa just now. ☺ Reclassify it and then they'll have to either grandfather me so I can buy more prohibs of the same class or play hide and seek.

It is not an MP5. It shares no parts. It is as much an MP5 as a Vz58 is an ak47.[/QUOTE]

Congrats man!!!!!!!
I too am very excited!!!

Should be a fun gun to shoot.
Also wanted to mention that IRG is one of the best company to deal with. Very smooth and easy. I believe I was talking with Patrick when placing my order and he made me feel like we were buds for many years.
Repeat costumer for sure.

Stop messing with this thread. Next thing people will contact the cops for clarification. :jerkit:

It's like the twits who are offering/volunteering legalese phrases to restrict the LAR & BW mags. Just either buy this neat toy or shut the %#&* up. You don't need to fuel any fire.
(there's a saying something like, too much information is a dangerous thing with some people) Just saying, be a bit circumspect.

Our main gunsmith in the USA just picked up one of our Lusa's from IRUNGUNS us facility. He is going to spec out the gun for a run of non restricted barrels and to see if MP5/MP5K forends can be adapted to fit and what work will be required.

Hello Steve,

Sounds like you guys have done some quick work on sourcing a NR option. Much appreciated. Does this mean that those of us who want to order NR can do so now? Or do we have to wait for some sort of confirmation on the NR conversion?
