Haven't seen any great prices on bulk ammo yet, lowest prices for .22lLR, .223, 9mm?

I am looking at Barnaul SP or HP to hunt prairie dogs in the states as the places I plan to hunt don’t allow FMJ. Maybe fire risk? I am wondering if this ammo is allowed in the US if it is Russian?

I'm going to guess it is not. Don't believe American's have access to Barnaul ammo.

Often pointless when you consider shipping.

As one fellow mentioned above, I order my ammo from Tenda because of that. Just ordered the 556 for $14.81 for 20. Only 5 % on top. Even private sellers want more and I have to drive an hour or 2.
 
fritzh - good point about driving for ammo. I'm in NB and some drive to McAdam,near the Maine border to get a "Deal". That's a 2-3 hour drive from me so ca $50+ for gas, if the weather cooperates. I've never done it, just order Tenda if I need anything. Local BP is starting to get ammo now, but I'm good for the next 5-years. I stocked up during Covid, some good deals were out there.
 
Seeing some CCI Blazer in stock at several stores. $519 / 1000 is not a bargain compared to what it used to be but not bad considering we haven't even seen this stuff for a while.
 
I stopped into Tenda on Friday and picked up bulk 9mm and 5.56 NATO, 1000 rounds of each. All bulk ammo seems to still be on sale and loads of stock on the floor in all popular calibers.

The Shooting sport has also become a financial game. With massive market and price fluctuations you best pull out the CC and swipe till it hurts when you see a good price. If you don't you will run out. Good luck buying ammo on the way to the shooting range or hunting trip.

I'm on the hunt for 22lr ammunition as well.
Checking my inventory with price tags still attached suggests some time has past since my last purchases of 22lr ammo

Remington Golden bullet hp 500pk- $18.99
Remington yellow jacket hp 500pk- $22.79
Remington subsonic hp 500pk- $23.99
Remington Thunderbolt 500pk- $18.99
Winchester SuperX 40g lrn 500pk- $21.99

Best I'm seeing now for 500pk is around $55.00 and up.

Once you factor in the tax and the possible shipping cost (not sure what the minimum free shipping is at Cabelas), you are still looking at about 80+ cents per round...give and take
If this is supposed to be some big discount, this is a very sad state of affairs.
 
A) that was a month ago . . .
B) reg price is $130/box
C) Last Spring it was $80
D) the year before it was $60-ish
E) ca. 100% increase within 18-20 months
F) WHERE are you finding better prices ??
