Heads up! Marstar's page is up for STG44,BD38,BD3008

Late 50's? Geez - who do you think I am? Tiriaq? LOL ;)

Actually, I'm in my 30's, but I started collecting when I was 16 and lived in New Brunswick. I got my first FAC in high school! Times sure have changed!

Wish I was in my late 50s. That's a memory now. My kids are older than Claven2. Started shooting over 50 years ago.

Well, I WAS going to be polite and not try to make you feel too old tiriaq, BUT.... lol.

PS: I expressed your stock to you yesterday.

SPENCER;
In as much that we wanted a true copy, built to riginal specs, Stg-44 we could not find a way to get fit a longer cartridge (7.62x39) into the mag well.

On the other hand if you and some of you buddies want to pay for the engineering and tooling we will produce as many as you want....

In the meantime we will stick with the "original"
John

ELMER FUDD;
Just like we say in our descriptions ALL NEW PARTS no surplus, no used.
Besides the orignal internals (full auto) components do not fit....
Besides I don't know of any source remaining for quantities of WW-11 issue M_38 & 40s. We cut up (kits) about 25,000 over the last few years.... So if you know of some we would gladly pay you a finders fee.
John

JOHN@;
Yes we will have the .22 cal versions of all the weapons as soon as they are produced.... As well as many new guns over the next year or so.
John

K-98 ACTION;
Hey guys, we managed to get all of these toys approved, long trip....
But the powers that be decided that they are all rifles, thereby limiting them to 5rds, sorry thats the best we could do

I can't say I'm surprised. I figured that the mags, being the same as converted autos, would have the same nonsensical restriction placed on them.

After all - we HAVE TO THINK OF THE CHILDREN!! That, and we all know crack heads will be saving their pennies to legally buy StG44's to knock off liquor stores to get money for crack since they spent al their B&E money on Marstar's reproduction German rifles... uhh... nevermind. I've never met a crackhead with a reloading setup sufficient to produce 8mm Kurz...

OK people; The reason that many of the "reproductions" made in the USA are NOT imported into Canada is the facxt that they are rewelding cut receivers...
The people in Ottawa classify the as machine guns sice they were FAs before they were cut and therefore still are.

Generally true John, but I think the Wise Lite Arms PPSh is built on a new stamped sheet metal receiver, not a reweld. That being said, I have no idea if it would pass RCMP muster.

I also know tht Len Savage at historic Arms in the US makes a completely new CNC machined Bren receiver that is semi-only which LIKELY would pass RCMP muster. It's not a reweld.

That's an amazing price for a small production run made in Germany. I for one am so happy they kept it in x33, 7.62x39 is a piece of crap.

You don't know what your talking about...:slap:
