For a Ruger GP100 handgun. Are those compatible?
38 Cal .357 180 gr HP XTP® I think is what I need, or similar.
Maybe .38 CALIBER (.357) 180 GR. FPJ MATCH Sierra.
I use the 180 Hornady XTP in my GP100 loaded over H110. It knocks down steel plates with authority!![]()
Ya i looked and it seems they are indeed for carbines, thanks though.I think these rounds are more for hunting using one of the pistol calibre carbines. If your research indicates that they will work for you send me a pm. I'll never use them.
I've got maybe 175 of the Hornady 180 gr. CL-SIL #3577 if thats what you are looking for. PM me for a price. I think they were originally designed for the Handgun Hunter Silhouette game.

How much would you call healthy? I use a Lee factory crimp die.The 180 XTPs can be used in most .357 revolvers IF the cylinder in a particular revolver is long enough to let them chamber. The GP100 will chamber them with no problems just make sure you use a good healthy crimp when loading.
