heavy 357 mag bullets

For a Ruger GP100 handgun. Are those compatible?

38 Cal .357 180 gr HP XTP® I think is what I need, or similar.
Maybe .38 CALIBER (.357) 180 GR. FPJ MATCH Sierra.

I've got maybe 175 of the Hornady 180 gr. CL-SIL #3577 if thats what you are looking for. PM me for a price. I think they were originally designed for the Handgun Hunter Silhouette game.

If you are going to go up from 158-160 grain in a 357 make sure you read your manuals. You can get high pressure spikes from heavier bullets in a revolver with normal pistol powders..

Ya i looked and it seems they are indeed for carbines, thanks though.

The 180 XTPs can be used in most .357 revolvers IF the cylinder in a particular revolver is long enough to let them chamber. The GP100 will chamber them with no problems just make sure you use a good healthy crimp when loading.

How much would you call healthy? I use a Lee factory crimp die.
