Heh central Alberta guys...cheap Federal .223

Using once fired military crimped brass with a premium powder (Varget), my reloading cost/1,000 is under $250 using .62 grn Armscor projectiles.
Using surplus WC735 powder, cost drops to $170/1,000.
The "hidden" cost is the time spent in brass prep and actual reloading itself. Treating it as a hobby will justify these disparities. Happy shooting to us all!!!:canadaFlag::ar15:

Cool! I can't wait to get into reloading. I collect all the brass from my favourite firearms (and difficult to acquire cartridges). I've got plenty of C77 brass too. :D

Just can't afford all the machines and tools yet... :(

Thanks for sharing actual cost. Been thinking about reloading, but the equipment can be pricey.
