Hey Vygur, getting those guns working again is my specialty. Mark's just a sissy when it comes to potentially lethal activities, like removing a potential hangfire .40S&W that got jammed within the chamber. Thankfully, it was a squib and the jam came out rather simply.

The arguement was practically mute. I pointed out the metallurgical aspect of what I was saying, and he presented his point. Basically, it boiled down to what you SHOULD do vs. what is common and easy to do.

As for using her gun, technically it's mine by law :p But I'm just getting her running smooth right now. And exmeathead, you're certainly not helping me none here either :) She's in FSJ and I'm in Edmonton. She'll be down in a little bit and she can put as many rounds through it as she pleases. Afterall, I still load all her mags and clean it for her. Slacker, she is.

And Cass, I'll see you on June 13? We can go out shooting on Thurs evening after I get back from the refinery. And all Friday you can play with the toy. I work the Sat and Sun, and you know where your gun will be. But I suspect you'll be heading back to FSJ at some point.

As for ALL of my mags.... with that comment now you are loading all of them. I'll soil my hands at work and come down to Ed and pretend they're fragile and delicate, lol.

Yes, I should be down by the 13th. I'm thinking I'll take the night bus, so I'll be in at 5am-ish. I think I'll stay up all day on the 12th so that I can actually sleep on the bus (graveyard shift, remember?). I should be almost back to normal by that afternoon. Laughable, I know. For shooting, I'm going with all of the above. I'm back at work on my birthday :( so I'll probably head home Sunday night.

Can you come down the weekend before? we are doing an NRA style rifle match at Spruce Grove on the 10th. 40 rounds, 10 sitting Rapid/ 1 min, 10 Prone/1 min, 10 standing in 10 minutes and 10 kneeling in 10 minutes. Any military or civilian rifle, Iron sighted or optics of 4 power or less.

If your down the next weekend, let me know, I think I'm out at the range again!

Kodiak: lol, well on my next pistol i'll probably follow your advice since i'm planning on getting a 1911... I should pay you to clean my guns :)

Dammit Kris I'm not a sissy....well at least I won't be when the masterkey is finished. Also, metallurgical bullsh*t aside my "improperly" broken in barrel will out shoot yours :D

Trust me, if I could be down the weekend before I would be. Sadly, I'm on a 9 day shift that isn't over until tuesday morning.

Kodiak, maybe you should let people pay you to clean guns. That would be job, what, 6?

My money is on Kodiak's barrel. Sorry b-wingpilot.
 
Cass: I dunno marks way is quite interesting... so far cleaned once - 500 shots through it and it shoots very accurately. :) maybe i just have a really good gun :)
 
Hey Vygur, the barrel of a Jericho is forged to very high standards using very clean alloy, much like Mark's USP. Both guns can definately take a few rounds before cleaning. Although, we both agreed what should be done is much different due to deposits, etc. before being properly conditioned. Then again, I'm just paranoid about my firearms. And I'd have no problem cleaning up your gun for a little coin, Vygur. I certainly enjoy playing with the machines.

And Mark, as for the masterkey, you're sticking with that instead of my "boltbuster"? And when am I going to get those files, huh? And that acronym too! I give and I give and I give...

and no i have nothing else to do at work than post whore on CGN...
 
"Computer Operator" so IT for bluecross, i monitor the servers, if something blows up i call the right people to fix it and run multiple batch commands. Nothing exciting but it's a great job. When it's busy it is BUSY but when it's not... I go shopping :eek: infact I just found out if i do want to do ipsc it'll cost me about $700-800 for what i'll need (4 extra magazines magazine pouches and holster...) and I still want to buy a 1911...
