Hello From Edmonton

If you are free this weekend, we are doing a military rifle match at Spruce Grove on Sunday at 11am. $10.00 to enter the match and usually about $20.00 for ammo if you need to borrow and rifle and ammo. Both my wife and daughter wil be there if you'd like to get some pointers from some other lady's in the sport. Come to think of it, after the way my wife was shooting last Sunday I might be asking her for some pointers!!!

UofA MechE....:mad: the enemy....:D I graduated from UofA Forestry a few years back well more then a few 10 or so now.

back when we were still called tree apes :D


but I understand that forestry is a kinder and gentler faculity now. :D

Welcome aboard Cassie.Don't worry about things like barrel break in yet.Just get a gun and have some safe fun shooting it.As others have said a .22 is a great place to start.I'm sure there are lots of people on here that would let you shoot some different stuff so you can get an idea what fits you BEFORE you buy something.Good luck and welcome to the insanity.;) :D

Idle threats small one. Vygur, what do you look like? I'm the range officer there with the bald head, glasses. I wasn't the blonde baldy, the ex-brown haired one.

And Cass, that thing is not going to have any tread left on the tires when I'm done with her... Muahahaha
 
Kodiak: All the range officers there are wearing glasses... safety glasses or eye glasses:p so it's a bit hard to distinguish though i probably have met you, i'm the asian guy with the baby deagle. I was there yesterday as I said and not sure bout tomorrow now. Are you that chris guy i met? Only person who somewhat fits the description...
