Hello From Edmonton

I am from up in the FSJ Peace area. I am currently in Edmonton. I was at the U of A but dropped out of school to go to work. I am addictions counselor. I also got my non rest. last year and got rest. a few months ago. I bought a 7.62 x 25 hand gun (tokarev) I like it. it is a zippy lil number from what i understand....lol

Just a quick hello since everyone else seems to posting here too.

lol...I was at the U of A as well...quite a while ago, but thats a different story.

Have fun.

Cz75b?

Hey Cass,

I noticed in one of your earlier posts that you were looking at getting a CZ75B. Did you ever it? What do you think of it? I'm looking at a 9mm and I have it narrowed down to a Sig 226, Browning hi-power Mk III or a CZ 75B. I've fired both the Sig and the CZ but not the Browning. The problem is that I'm a lefty and the only one that has a slide lock and safety on the right side is the Browning. I've looked at the CZ 85 combat but I don't really want an adjustable sight (just something very basic) and at the price of an 85 combat, I'm entering into Browing territory.

Just curious about your experience with the CZ. Oh yeah, also where did you get yours from?

Regards,:)

Hey recoveringunut, a couple of us make it out to Genesee periodically, but my membership is currently at Wild West in West Edmonton Mall.

London22, I am in the process of getting the CZ. Its being held by a friend in Edmonton currently until I'm back at school when we will be making the transfer. I have shot it many times, and I absolutely love it. Before you make a decision to buy one, make sure you shoot it first. I've shot pistols similar to the CZ in 9mm and found that just the way they were shaped they were quite uncomfortable to shoot. I love the CZ. I'm getting it from a friend, who bought it at Wild West Shooting Center in West Edmonton Mall. Hope that helps.

Centre cass ;) but that friend also likes to shoot the apparent "other cz75" he has lol, in other news i just found a standard issue bipod for my cz858

Hey Vygur, when is it you're getting into reloading? Ready to lose a good $1200, or are you going basic?

Hey Cass, have you been tracking our shipment from the US? Almost here! Could arrive sometime tomorrow if I'm lucky. Then the first 250 rounds get loaded tomorrow. If I'm lucky. Then again, I could get a face full of flash too. Chicks dig scars, right?

Hey Mark, if you're still reading this: nice job ninja'ing the shotty from the old man. Pretty easy to do when he's nowhere near the farm, eh? I would have had your back man. Just remember, timing and reflex. I'm sure you could dodge whatever he would throw at you. Except maybe that revolver that he has under his pillow :p

Awww, come on. How bad could an accident with ammunition possibly be? It's not like it explodes or anything :p

Just think, less than 2 weeks until you're back down and into the fray of the U of A....

Cass,
If your back in dodge by the 26th of Aug, we are having a Service Rifle and Service Pistol match at Spruce Grove. Wanna come?

Scott
