Nester,
What will you be doing for work when you arrive here? What did you (Do you) do now?
I'm guessing you have a job lined up already and what part of the city will you be living in?
Please pm me if I can help you get settled or you need any assistance, I'd be happy to help!
Scott
Good morning Scott

Well, when I left the Army in 2001 I faced the 30% unemployment rate (official rate was a little bit over 20%, but God only knows how they were counting this).
Literally there wasn't any job available for me.
I don't like to ask anyone for the money (including the governments).
The outcome was simple then - I started my own business.
Branch office of the Polish Post in my neighborhood.
It wasn't easy, it wasn't what I wanted to do for living, but I could support my family and it was a BIG plus.
I was running it for over 5 years.
Thanks to this job I was accepted as a "skilled worker" by the Canadian government.
However because this job was taking too much of my time (the preparation for the move is taking a lot of time also - all the paper works, arrangement of the money transfer, selling our staff here...) I started a new job lately.
I don't have any job waiting for me across the pond.
I'm sending the resumes, but I'm sure that the companies aren't interested because I'm still sitting in Poland.
I'm looking for an entry-level job.
It would be perfect if I could enter the security & protection business since my dream is to join the Police in few years, but I'm ready to take any decent job and learn the new things.
I graduated from the Military University of Technology in Warsaw in 2006 (Diploma in Security).
So, looks like the future is great, wide, open and clear book for me

I will remember about your kind offer.
Thank you very much.
