25/06 compliments a 35 Whelen nicely. Shoots flat and hits above its weight class. A little light for moose but many use a 270 with cheap blue box shells and a premium bullet from a 25/06 will out perform those.

If the lever was removed and you squinted really hard you could almost make it look as good as a 7600. But alas it just comes back into focus again....

Ha ha funny guy... I thought you said you liked my BLR? Ha ... Now I know you were just lying. LOL. Seeing your a 7600 fan, mine just got better...a Timney trigger kit was put tonight. Works great.

BTW Super Cub, none of my rifles will ever have a thumbhole stock. It's just not me......

To everyone else thanks so far for your replies, still doin a lot of reading on the calibers I've listed. Ie: what guns are available in the calibers that interests me, and just info on the calibers other people have posted about. Cheers!

Like many here, I have owned most of these cartridges. No 260. The only one I use now is the 280. It does all I want. That said so did the 7-08,270,06,308, and 300wm. With new bullets available each caliber is much more versatile.
