Help finding a Tikka T3X Lite in .260 Rem please

Nothing against the .260 Rem. That would be my preferred 6.5 chambering. There's just a night and day difference between Remington quality and Tikka quality. And I came across a few T3X Lites in 6.5x55 swede recently, which would make for a great second choice. I am a Remington guy for sure, and have owned over a dozen new 700s but find them to be very hit or miss. It's just for this rifle's intended purpose I'd much prefer a Tikka.

Call prairie gun traders out of avonlea Saskatchewan, they will get you whatever you want and are competitive with pricing. Customer service won't be beat either. For what it's worth I have no affiliation with them, however it is the only place I will ever buy from...after years dealing with big box and fly by night online bullsh*t.

Baloney to some, steak to others. I kind of like the way my Savage shoots...

Your rifle advice is on par with your reloading advice........

Check with Island Collateral & Sales, they list a T-3 Lite 6.5X55 with scope for $899.95 in the Access. Its not a .260, but ballistically the 6.5X55 is very similar, and there's no information on the scope, but it might be worth a call all the same.

Personally, I'd take full advantage of the T3's full length action and get one chambered in 6.5x55 over 260 Rem any day of the week... more versatility in handloading, and both are inherently accurate. There's also a great selection of Norma hunting ammo for 6.5x55 carried by Tradex.
