I am trying to identify this rifle. It is very much like the czech vz-24 execpt there are some differences. There is an upper wood cover infront of the back sight. Also there is no release on the bottom of the magazine. The whole trigger guard and magazine cover are one piece. It is very well marked as 7.62 and was made in CESKOSLCVENSKA ZROJOVKA, A.S., BRNO which is stamped on the side of the breech.
I can't find any other markings on the gun that are legible but as you can see on the top there is a stylized lion or eagle.
Pictures where taken at a good resolution so you should be able to zoom in. And yes, I know, it needs a lot of TLC.
Left Side
Right Side
breech
Sights
Thank you for any help.
