Help me choose 7mm RM rifle

If you want a 7mm with a muzzle break, Go for it,

I have a remington magnum 7mm, and yes it have a muzzle break on it, why ? Not because I could not manage the recoil (the 7mm recoil is nothing compare to a Mosin with a metal but plate..), but because in hunting situation with a muzzle break it is faster to inquire the sights/scope after the shot, by experience, that's a fact.

I like that 7mm, very accurate.

so if it's what you want, that's it !! Don't look further and forget about other comments that will try to sell you anything else that you don't want.
I think this is a very good point related to recoil reduction.

There's a glitch on their site. When I tried to add it to my cart it says it sold out (not that I'm interested in the 7mm version).

I checked out that site, lots of good deals on there. I would opt for the sendero for $1100. That's a crazy price. Must resist....must resist

Me and a few friends all had 7mm magnums at one time or another. Every one of us had to chase pretty much everything we shot, so we all got rid of them and went to .30 caliber. No more chasin after animals that have been shot square in the boiler room like those 7mag shots.

Bullets selection would be the issue there, not the cartridge.
Hell my brother last year put 4 rounds into a medium WT to put it down with his 7x57 using 140 Rem Core-locts. Not a single round passed through, every one exploded like a varmint bullet on entry. And it's a lot slower then the 7RM. Now he's got 140 partitions...won't be an issue again.

That's funny.

27 years ago I've shot my first deer my 7mm Rem Magnum, he just felt down 3-4 feets from where he were. The next year, shot another one, he went down just 25 feet away from where he were....,

Same experience with moose hunting since the last 25 years, I have had good shots everytime.

your first shot must always be THE one shot, maybe with more practice?
