Problem # 1
The best method to fix your problem would be sell it for $20 count your losses and buy a quality American made lever action rifle like a Henry or a Marlin. One of these 2 selections will last you your grandkids and your grand kids grandkids a lifetime and It will give them something to be proud of owning. It will also have much better resale value (who would want to sell it though??) It will only cost you a little more money but the you know the gun will have cost more then $4.50CND to produce.
