How much did you spend on the scope? You should think about spending about a quarter of what you spent on the scope on rings and bases. That is, not exactly a quarter, but it will give you a rough idea what your budget should be.
What brand of scope do you have? You could just go with the same manufacturer for rings/bases.
Do you expect to take the scope off the rifle regularly? If so, you should consider getting "quick release" rings for a somewhat higher price.
Basically, it all comes down to a chain being as strong as its weakest link. There is no point to spending much on rings and bases for a low priced scope.
Also, does your scope have a one inch or 30 mm tube? That may affect what types of rings are available.
