Thanks for the advice, So from everyone i'm seeing mainly:
1) That level of variation is, generally speaking, acceptable given i'm not a high level precision shooter
2) Try baffles
3) slow smooth throw (already been doing that but i will pay closer attention just in case)
The reason for using IMR 4064 and 4895 was mainly because that's what i had on hand to test with. It came with some of the reloading gear i got from a friend that got out of the hobby. I figured I would stick with 4064 since it is a pretty universal powder according to my handbook since i intend to shift into .223 and .303 Brit as well. I will consider trying some some of the ball powders you've all recommended. At the very least i'll look into whether or not any of them cover all the cartridges i want to reload. I'd like to just stock the 1 powder in bulk.
