HERA H6 Rifle .223 Rem 18" Non-Restricted

I dig it but its not 5.56 compatible?

False.

European guns are always labelled as .223-Remington to get around their stupid gun laws.

5.56-Nato is a banned caliber in many parts of Europe. But .223-Remington is totally fine.

I was guessing a set trigger.

Thats what my initial thought was too, but you'd think they'd mention a feature like that in the ad copy? I checked their website and didn't see anything mentioning it, and I didn't notice them mention it in the video posted in the OP either...

This is amusing, a gaggle trying to come up with the wittiest insult of something new. That’s been going on for time immemorial, one of our greatest strengths as a species. “HA! look at that abomination, putting four circles standing on edge under his sled!”

What I see, on pure features is a 5 1/2lb backpack scout rifle that folds to the bare minimum length, takes ubiquitous mags, and could be fantastic for walking backpack hunts. It really needs to be scaled up to 6.5 Grendel in time, which looks doable as the mags fit. Not great for larping to be sure, but great for packing.

Doesn’t always need to be an 8lb semi .223. In fact, I often prefer a bolt in practical use anyhow. This is a modern scout rifle.

If they made 'em in lefty I'd want one for the weight alone. Not a lot of lightweight options for the lefty crowd.

^This!
I would prefer a 1:8 twist for shooting heavier projectiles in 223, that said you couldn't take my $$ fast enough if they made a 12" barreled 300 Blackout and a 18" 6 ARC.

I kind of like it. We had some tactical .223 bolt guns now, but they are questionably in terms of accuracy. If this thing shoots well, I would get one just to play around with. Looks like the stock would be very ergonomic and I like that it folds. Good snowshoeing gun with some iron sights on it, just shove it in the backpack and go.
