Firearms Outlet has some Heritage Arms revolvers on their website, and a person can ask product-related questions directly (via the website).

hmm I have both the Chiappa 1873 and Heritage with dual capabilities. Have only shot a couple rounds or WMR so never tested that but next time I am out will give it a try. Trouble is the WMR ammo is sometimes more expensive than 9mmI thought that the bore diameter of a 22mag was larger than a regular 22LR. I notice my 2 convertible 22 revolvers (Ruger and Colt) both shoot better with the 22mag ammo. I assumed that this was because the bore diameter better matched the ammo.
Is my assumption of a different bore diameter correct?
If so, are all Heritage revolvers made with the larger bore, so that they will work with a 22Mag cylinder and ammo?
If not, is it a good idea to put a 22Mag cylinder on a 22LR gun?
I have a stainless ruger 22lr-22 mag convertible single action and all the info I gathered for it was that yes the barrel is slightly larger to be able to fire the 22 mag Bullets and that accuracy was less when firing the 22 lr
Not sure if the heritage guns have a larger barrel or not
Might be a recipe for a stuck bullet if not[/QUOTE]
No, I don't think so. The problem would probably be high pressure and bad barrel leading.
Well I bought the cylinder for this. Now I just need the guns to come back in stock somewhere
