I'll check the serial number and date it when I pick it up next week. The 45-70 I bought is 1979 mfg...again NIB. There are many 30-30's and a few 32 Specials in various configurations that date to the 60's-70's and more that are not even drilled and tapped for scope mounts..these have to be early 50's mfg. at the latest. They are worth a look to anyone in the Edmonton area.,,but...no stainless rifles.
