Hello all,

Just joined CGN and there is so much to read! Anyway, as the title say, I'm from Gatineau. I started shooting a couple of months ago and looking for infos on what to buy-not to buy (rifles, ammo, etc.).

I am looking for some places to shoot around Ottawa-Gatineau and a somewhat affordable scope for my tiny .22 Savage MKII.

There are a few ranges around the area, i'm sure some people will chime in with their recommendation.

Yeah well... to my defence I immigrated from Montreal a few years back so I have not picked up the Gatzinais? language quite yet :D

But I know how to "tooter d'la horn".:p
 
Salut YJ,

Quite a few Gunnutz around here. I am a member at the Danford Lake shooting range (pistol range there as well), sometimes in Stittsville, and the Eastern Ontario as well (three times each year, there's a great milsurp shooting match at that one).

Feel free to ask any question in the appropriate sub-forums, always folks to help here.

Hi all, I did not introduced myself yet! Im from Gatineau too, Aylmer beach sector.
It's a small world, so we will probably bump into each other one day...

hope the weather will get better, but i always said sh....y weather at the range ,its still a day at the range and its better then a day at work.lol
