Hi-Points Have Arrived...

While my stable of firearms is about to the limit for now, I'd try one in the future.

I also tend to take bad news/opinions with a grain of salt. I own a Rem 597, that you see much complaints about on other forums.

I've seen complaints about the Savage Mark 2 bolt action, which I own. And the much hated Norinco brand.

I had a Chev Sprint that at least 3 people said they were unreliable, and had head gasket problems.

I must be a lucky guy. Sure, I've come across gremlins, but nothing a little creative thinking couldn't fix.


I guess my point is, I don't believe everyone when they said something was crap.

The naysayers can jerk it in another thread really. A new import is always a good thing.

I have written to Hi-Point, noting that since they now have a proper Canadian vendor, we need to know about warranty arrangements. I'll keep the board posted if/when I get a reply.
