I did some research. Assembly date code of AM is Jan. 1969.
The choke is not marked. The bore measures .535" at the muzzle.
There are two stars stamped on the barrel, choke marking code??
Would that be Full or Modified?
My sentiments exactly!Pretty rare little gun in 28ga today. I have a collection of 28's and it took me quite a while to find one of those.VR and yours is probally mod choke
The boys will look in the book and say 250-300 value but it will bring more in the 500 -550 range if you are going to sell it and in no rush
I say try to show me a few more when they think I am nuts with that price. Bet they can't in canada in 28ga
Thanks for sharing and an excellent score indeed. For me she would be a keeper
Cheers
For myself ,$300.00 would be the top of the mark for one of these shotguns. If I were to pay more than that, I would go for a used Browning Model 12 or Remington Model 870 Wingmaster. The High Standard Flite King shotguns were not a top of the line shotgun.
3macs1, you say third party made it? I am curious about that statement. Who did make the shotgun pictured?
