Higher end NR rifles, Robinson Arms XCR ($2500) vs Tavor 21 ($2750), which is better

I just picked the XCR only because I felt like a giant holding the tavor. Maybe its just not my cup of tea, but I felt like it was a little small for me. I'm 6'4" and have arms like a ape, so I felt so congested shouldering it. Yes I know there is someone on here bigger than I am who can shoulder it no problem. I'm jst saying I didn't like it. Go shoulder them and see for yourself.

I don't understand this as the Tavor has the longest lop of most ar type rifles on the market.

I actually hated the xcr becuse the lop was so short, i'm 6.1 and one of the readons i bought a tavor. But thats all about personal feel. You gotta put the rifle to your shoulder and see how it feels, if it feels weird then you wont be able to hit anything with it, no matter what the rated accuracy of the rifle is.

Bullpup... I didn't like everything so compact into my shoulder. Not sure what you don't understand. I wasn't comfortable. Are you offended?

Hey, It's not for everyone. I'm a big guy myself, and I find very comfortable. I'll admit my first time holding it, it felt a little weird. But after handling it for a while it became natural, and now I find traditional rifles not as comfortable. Or as stable, when I hold it I feel as if its locked into my body, and not have to focus as much on keeping the rifle steady. For a guy like me who dose 90% of my shooting from standing, that is very appealing.

I agree with this. Owning a couple XCR's and Tavors the first time shouldering the Tav in the shop felt awkward and tight being 6'2. After fielding it and recognizing the benefits that came from that my XCR's generally only see bench use now. The point ability of the Tav makes it my go to off hand rifle.

I'm sure if I could shoot one I would get used to it of course. But when spending $3000 and Ontario being so limited in supply and ranges to shoot them. My only experience was about 30 seconds of holding each at the store.
