No, there is no mag restriction.... These rifles came from Walther with a 10 round mag.... We have High Cap mags on the site should you wish to purchase them.

Standard capacity. I've never seen a mag that could hold more cartridges, than it was designed for.

This is a great gun that runs all day long. The only problem I have had is that the mags are all plastic and a feed lip broke when dropping a mag, so now it's useless and can't (easily) be repaired.
