One thing that I find particularly odd is the sling attachment directly on the barrel... does that not kinda defeat the purpose of a free floating barrel?

No mags? Doesn't it take standard AR mags? That is one expensive setup as well. Elcan Specter DR is like 1800 plus a 4200 gun. 6k holy crap.

Only if something is applying pressure on the sling while your shooting.

The grip angle is different..... not necessarily bad, just different. I need to shoot it before passing a judgement. There are other grips available, so the angle can be changed. I am going to wait for my HK mags before shooting it.

Now - just chop the barrel to 10.5", lose the grip, and replace the stock with a UBR/M93B/CTR , and it's PERFECT!!!

Oh - and any idea why the dust cover is plastic? Would a metal replacement fit? It just seems odd...

It's metal.... just looks plasticky in the pics. EDIT: I stand corrected. I double-checked, and the dust cover is plastic/polymer/whatever.
