Target Sports has a good price on a new one just north of Toronto. No more word on these accuracy reports from any local users? UW did you get one and shoot it? what to they like for ammo, has anyone developed an excellent load just yet?

I have not even put over a hundred rounds through mine yet, but when i get this project going all let you know!

I suggest you go check out HKPRO forums...
There are a lot of shooters getting sub-moa out to 500m

There are people who love the HK rifles and some who hate them, but most people who have actually owned an HK have very little negative to say about them. If you have $4100.00 to spend on a MR308, you will get a lot of enjoyment out of it. :ar15:

This (as an HK owner), plus you get to look cool. Hitler himself said it.

$4100 is the price at Target Sports North

Where is Target Sports South?

:D

Just make sure the Rifle comes with everything including the proper parts, like sights, stock, etc. If there is a good price at Target, there is a reason.
Lots of Franken' Guns in that display case. Probably well built... you hope.

.

These generally don't come with sites. 4100 is a good price. They are over 4600 now in Calgary that I've seen.
I got mine early and paid less than 4600 but not by much.
It's my most accurate rifle. Like it alot. The only negatives I have with it are restricted and the price.

can you add a longer barrel and make them non-restricted? HK makes a 20 inch barrel

Just kidding... no. Its an AR based platform and wholesale restricted by OIC.

According do the guys at Wolverine it has an FRC and is NOT considered a varient therefore the 20 inch will be non-restricted if it ever comes in.

The 16s are only restricted due to barrel length.

I have checked with other sources and they concur with what was said to me by Wolverine. There are other simillar black rifles that would be non-restricted but suspitiously they never get into the country. Note how much trouble Kel Tech is having. They are getting all the hoops to jump and then some.

So short of actually seeing the FRC number myself on the RCMP database this seems to be accurate info. Does anyone know how to access the same database the vendors do? Not the dated public one.
