HK P7 PSP Value?

Those were good investments for the guys that bought them at 1K. From what I understand, may surplus guns showed holster wear but had been shot very little.

If that was from the batch of refurbed chrome samples done by DK Inc, it will be a high quality job. I personally like the chromed guns - looks neat and i like the additional resistance to wear and tear - but yes it may detract a little for the purists.

Interestly enough I see a P7 M13 was just listed for sale on the EE.................$5500.;)

Crazy. I owned five P7’s over the years. Three M13’s and two M8’s. First one was in the late eighties the last about 5 years ago. They are great pistols, way ahead of their time. I sold my M13’s between 2 and 25 hundred. One NIB M8 was 2 grand and the other was a gently used but with nice purple patina for $1600. I guess I should of held in to them, I guess hype goes a long way.

That was a blocky heavy beast!
The true unicorn P7 was the K3 in .22 or .380.

Here are the production numbers that a fellow nutter sent me a while ago. He didn't include any info on the K3 kits but FWIW I see that there is only one on Gun Broker (has .22, .32 and .380 barrels, mags etc)........listed at $11,000 USD

PSP: over 81,000

M8: over 61,000

M13: under 22,000

M10: under 2,700 (half blued, half nickel)

I think the M10 is legitimately around the 5k mark. Can’t see it for the M13 personally but as pointed out, the market decides.

A gent on another forum just acquired one of the 6 or 7, P7M7 45 acp prototypes. Can’t imagine what those would fetch on the open.

That would be quite something. I wonder what the back story of that gun is? Supposedly HK only ever made 6 and all are reported to be never released and still in HK's possession. I did read somewhere that Don Johnson had one in Miami Vice.

Nope. They are all generally similar. Many of the surplus PSPs from european countries had holster wear but not a lot of usage as I understand it. Some still think the PSP is the purest expression of the design, even if it was produced in highest #s and has lowest collectability.

That is what I was thinking. Aren't the only differences on the M8 the US style mag release and the plastic heat shield? .....and aren't many M8's US police surplus?
