I have a .40 USP and a 9mm on the way, I'll let you know in a week or so when the 9mm arrives.
If its anything like using Glockk 22 mags in a Glock 17, it will work but will be more prone to stovepipe stoppages when feeding.

I will note that my conclusion from the Glock experiment was that it'sy not worth the compromise in reliability for the extra 2 rounds or so.
I'm about to get my first pistol here in a few days. Like the title says, its a USP 9mm.
