Hk433

yah ill have to go through their instagram, give me a few minutes

cant find it, but i remember it clear as day, i even commented back to them that no such thing had happened after I had read them say it a couple of times

I'm only asking because @hecklerandkoch IG account is run by H&K USA, which is a separate entity to H&K Germany and they know very little about the HK243 since that's a product from H&K Germany, let alone knowing its release information in outside of USA (in this case Canada).

I predict the SF will go and stay with the HK416. The unwashed big army will get this because it is cheaper.

Actually the ksk have put out a request that this rifle seems to fill to the tee. As for the others. Who knows. Time will tell. This is suppossed to replace both the 416 and g36

So HK does everything it can to make the HK 243 legal in Canada....only to have it declared prohibited by the Canadian Govt. and this is HK's fault how? Like they have control over decisions about what will be declared prohibited or not....in a foreign Country....and this makes them anti civilian market how? Please....the hoops they have to jump through to get civilian products passed by the ATF and CFP.....sometimes it's out of their control when the "hoop" is moved at the last minute.....and the company (HK) has spent loads of money trying to meet the requirements....just to cater to the civilian market.

Wow, then we still get the statements....HK hates civilians...blah,blah,blah....give me a break.

lol typical hk ox excrement

Can you imagine the madness that would have ensued if they unveiled this to everybody at SHOT show? What they did made sense. They built this for armies and groups that cannot afford the HK416A5s, not for youtubers to do ####ty reviews after shooting two magazines from a bench.

I think this thing looks perfect.
I love ARs but a folding stock is a great feature that the AR lacks, barring boutique solutions that don't let the action cycle.
Adjustable gas is always nice too.

The funny thing is that most of the SF in the EU are HK416 clients ( yes, including the Dutch!) , other than Germany.

Germany is an interesting country. They are one of the biggest economy in the EU but their military's readiness and spending are not what it should be.

Kind of like Canada - has (in our case I think we can say had) a great economy, but no one wants to pay the bill for defending themselves.

That's something I don't get. There's any number of manufacturers whose customers are largely MIL/LE and whose wares can only be purchased by them, yet they don't seem to get the nerdrage hate HK does when they do. It's not like HK dangles it in front of your face and goes "Neener, neener, you can't have this."

I think it's because H&K firearms are extremely attractive and everybody wants them, but the price point and the fact that because of Germany's own export laws, we can't have access to them.

It is weird indeed. I know the french and italians sof units have been rocking 416s. This is the first I'm hearing about the dutch. Don't let the cc rep hear about this.

What's that AK mag release looking paddle switch for? Bolt release or some kind of ambi mag release?

It's the g36 mag release. They have different mag release options. Or so they say. One will be the g36/ak style paddle. The other would be the ar style button.

The Dutch KCT has been a HK416 and 417 user for years. The Korp Commando just bought another batch of 200 11.5" new A5s sometime last year. It is published in defence news sources, so it is not secret.

Rumoured to have a civilian model announced in 3 weeks. Anyone else in the know hear something similar? Is it north sylva that's the new Hk distributor?

Seriously if that's true the Lab just trounced the HK 243 being convertible to full-auto allegedly & I don't see this going any better for us - yes North Sylva

I guess it's always worth a tad bit of hope...

I still don't understand how the '243 got classified as it did, but it's possible that they only had a couple plastic tabs (like how the SL8 has the tabs to prevent G36 mags from going in; which are routinely removed for conversions all the time) and that they cut those out with a grinder or chisel; and bam a F/A lower fit... And all it needs to do is fire 2 rounds before it detonates or goes catastrophically wrong; and they have their Prohib class.
