HK45 has been released

Overpriced and ugly. I hate how HK seems to always copy Berretta Neo's design.

its not going to win any beauty contests, thats for sure.

i think the usp is damn fine lookin', but this thing.... is hard on the eyes.

Leave my crack dealer out of this. True enough, it's not an exact copy of the Neo. However, I can see some styling cues of the Neo in all HK pistol's, this one in particular.

I think the USP was out before the Neo if thats what you are getting at;)

You have no idea what you're talking about. The USP has been the main HK pistol for years. If you compare the internals with the P2000 (first variation from USP Compact) and then the P30 (full sized P2000) and now the HK 45 they are basically USP variants.

The USP was released years before the Neo, which itself was only released in 2000 if memory serves.

So are you saying that the P2000 and USP series have also taken their cue from the Neo?

my USP 40 was shot 25K+ rds without issue;),I have had FT fire's with bad primers but never a Fail to feed or extract, and the bad primers alway lite up on second strick:evil:

this is exactly one thing that can not be taken away from the USP, it is one of the most reliable pistols on the planet. The downside was that the grip was not for everyone, and got complaints (myself included). Now that the grip has been designed and made adjustable to fit 99% of users, the complaining should die down..:p

The P30L will become a popular performer in USPSA and IPSC production (not my words, Pat Sweeney's words)

I'm looking forward to grabbing a P30L. Any ETA on these little wonders or is it still up in the air?

Spoke with Mr. Wolverine yesterday about Canadian delivery dates. No firm date yet other than probably this month. Price was quoted as $1500.

Looks like someone somewhere along the supply chain wants to ream the Canadian customers. It will still be $300 cheaper to buy one in the US and have Questar import it than it will be if I buy it locally. For that kind of difference there's no way I can justify supporting a local business no matter how much I want to.

Way to go HK and Nichols. Just lost another customer.

Maybe I should buy two Smith and Wesson M&P 45's and eight extra mags from Mr. Wolverine. It would be the same price in the end.
